Stemming from their personal shamanic healing journeys with combined backgrounds in Chinese medicine and energy work, Native American, Mayan, Olmec and Peruvian traditions, Martien and Teressena have a rich blend of experience and modalities to draw from, so each session is guided by the energetics presented for clarity, right relationship and wholeness. Their empathic and intuitive skills bring insight to every session, inspiring one with direction and affirmation for their life path. In the Heart of Arkansas lies a Peace- full 'hidden valley'. Hot Springs gets its name from the deep springs that have brought people from all over, many years for healing and repose. The Valley as such has a name that goes back even longer, to the Native Indians that lived and came here from all over the Americas. They would bring their sick and elderly to the Valley of the Vapors. The springs, then open and widely available, created steam, because of the 143 degree F water.
Teressena and Martien Bakens proprietors of Peace Valley Creations were drawn to Hot Springs like many other settlers before them. When spirit calls we answer.

Connecting with the Divine blueprint of Peace Valley and its powerful healing energy, Peace Valley Creations offers a variety of products and services to facilitate in healing and assist on one's spiritual journey. Martien and Teressena have facilitated experiential workshops on Tarot and on Sacred Union in the United States and in Holland. For the past eight years they have led group journeys to the sacred lands of the Olmec and Maya in the Yucatan, Veracruz, Tabasco, Chiapas and Guatemala. Their home in Hot Springs, Arkansas is also the sacred space for Sweat Lodges, Goddess Gatherings, Full Moon circles and the Dream circle.
